Welcome to the Official Potato Scp:SL Server!
This is a lightly modded server with minor changes, example being proximity chat with scps, and other quality of life changes.


General Rules
Respect All Players: No harassment, discrimination, or toxic behavior.
Language & Conduct: Keep language respectful and appropriate. No hate speech or excessive swearing.
Cheating & Exploits: Use of hacks, cheats, or exploits is strictly prohibited.
Impersonation: Do not impersonate staff or other players.
Advertising: Advertising other servers or communities without permission is not allowed.

Gameplay Rules
Team Killing (TK):
No intentional team killing.
Accidental TKs must be acknowledged and apologized for.
Camping: No excessive camping in spawn areas or critical zones (e.g., nuke room).
Delaying: Actively pursue objectives. Do not unnecessarily delay rounds.
Teaming:
SCPs and humans may not team unless roleplay scenarios dictate otherwise (e.g., Chaos Insurgency alliances).
NTF and SCP teaming is forbidden.
Role Abandonment:
Play your role according to its objectives.
Do not sabotage your team.

Communication Rules
Mic Usage:
No mic spam, ear rape, or soundboards.
English is the primary language for communication.
Radio/Intercom: Use responsibly without spamming or blocking critical announcements.

Role-Specific Rules
SCPs:
Do not intentionally stall the game by hiding or camping without reason.
Scientists & D-Class:
Prioritize escape or cooperation for survival but avoid prolonged friendly negotiations that stall the game.
NTF & Chaos Insurgency:
Follow objectives by protecting your allies and neutralizing threats.
Guards:
Assist scientists and neutralize threats.

Staff Rules
Authority: Staff decisions are final.
Abuse: No staff member may abuse their powers for personal gain or to ruin player experiences.
Reporting Staff: Any concerns with staff conduct can be reported via a designated channel (e.g., Discord).

Reporting & Appeals
Report Violations: Report rule-breaking through the server's report system or Discord.
Ban Appeals: Submit appeals respectfully via the server's designated appeal process.
