Dark Pond Server Rules:

1. Please treat others with respect.
2. No racial slurs or potentially offensive language.
3. Play the game how it's supposed to be played (in other words, no trying to work with other teams, etc)
4. Listen to server owner and all staff.
5. Use common sense.

Please have fun and obey all rules! Even if a rule is not listed, we reserve the right to enforce our authority over things that should be common knowledge. Please educate yourself on the plugin list below, as this changes gameplay quite a bit. It's expected of you to know these things. Have fun!

This is a list of plugins that we use that differentiate us from other servers and the vanilla game (may be outdated):

1.) SERPENT'S HAND
- Adds a new class named Serpents Hand into the game. This class has a chance to replace a Chaos spawn and is tasked with assisting the SCPs in eliminating all other targets.
2.) SCP-1162
- Turn 173 spawn into SCP-1162. If you drop an item inside the "cage"/room of Scp-173 you will get another one. (Or a corpse).
3.) Peanut Explodes
Upon death, he just blows up.
4.) Elevator Lockdown
There is a chance that an elevator may become deactivated. It will reboot and become useable again soon after.
5.) Random Coin Flips
One of my personal favorites. If you have a coin on you, you can flip it and hope it doesn't land on heads. If it lands on tails, a random good effect will occur. If it lands on heads, a random bad effect will occur.

tails_effects:
- FasterSpeed
- RandomItem
- Heal
- TeleportTo914 (arguably a bad effect sometimes)

heads_effects:
- Throw up grenade
- TPtoSCP
- KillPlayer
6.) Overdose
Consuming at least 2 medications (Painkillers, adrenaline) has a chance to kill you due to overdose. Upon the second consumption of meds, you have a 5 percent chance of overdose. With every further consumption of medication, the chance is increased by another 5 percent.
7.) Blackouts
Every so often, a blackout has a chance of occurring. This turns off all lights in the facility, making it very hard to see. This makes the flashlight item useful. SCP's can still see in the dark.

8.) Unlucky Pills
As if the random coin flips weren't enough, now consuming painkillers has completely different effects that can happen. The difference is that flipping a coin can give you more of an advantage or it can kill you, so it's an actual strategic risk. However, consuming painkillers is more of a "fun" thing. Here is a list of all the possible effects:
- Kill - Instant death.
- Zombify - Temporarily being turned into a zombie.
- GiveGun - Being granted a gun and ammo for said gun.
- Goto - Teleporting to a random player.
- Combustion - Spontaneous combustion.
- Shrink - Temporary minification.
- Throw up 018 - You throw up 4 of SCP-018 into whatever room you're in.
- Bring - Having a random player teleported to you.
- SwitchDead - Being replaced out for a spectator.
- Switch - Having the position exchanged with a different player.
