Welcome to Voidborn
Rules:
No cheating, hacking, ghosting, or metagaming of any sort.
Don’t be a jerk: Respect other members of the community. If you pretend like you don’t know what this means, you’re being a jerk. This includes no targeted harassment or bigotry.
No killing unarmed D-Class: As MTF or Facility Guard, unless it would end the round. Attempt to detain them first. If they resist or are armed, you may use lethal force. This rule doesn’t apply to Class-D, Scientists, or Chaos Insurgency.
SCP Communication: SCPs must have a working microphone to communicate with their teammates. If not, they will be swapped with another player who does.
Mic Spamming: Do not excessively micspam. If your microphone picks up too much background noise, you will be asked to stop using it.
Intercom Behavior: Being egregiously unfunny on the intercom is grounds for a temporary ban. Spamming or overusing the intercom is also not allowed. Don’t make us impose a time limit and cooldown like other servers.
Staff Authority: Staff has the final say in any incident. Don’t waste your time arguing with them. Remember, staff members volunteer their time to moderate both this server and the Discord community.
Moderation Powers: Only users with Lead Admin, Sr Admin, Jr Admin, Sr Mod, and Jr Mod badges have moderation powers. People with Discord Member, Event Winner, or custom badges do not have moderation powers.
No false reports: If you see any players breaking these rules, please do not hesitate to report them. You can do this in-game. If you're unsure how, please look up instructions.
No evading or bending the rules: Trying to find loopholes, playing victim, or staying "borderline" within the rules will not be tolerated. Use common sense.
Respectful Appeals: Be respectful when appealing. Rudeness or belittling staff during an appeal will result in its denial.
No advertisements: Only partners may promote content. No other form of advertising is allowed.
No alt accounts: This rule extends to all connected servers or platforms associated with Voidborn.
Rules are not exhaustive: Punishments may be applied for actions not directly mentioned if they are detrimental to the community.
Encouraging rule-breaking: Encouraging others to break rules will result in the same or worse punishment as the person who committed the violation.
Breaking any of these rules: Will result in a kick, temporary ban, or permanent ban from the Voidborn SCP: Secret Lab server. Unless the offense is severe, you will still have access to the Discord server.
